Layla
Layla Capri is a Nashville-based singer/songwriter with 500,000+ streams and a growing reputation for honest, faith-rooted music that connects deeply with audiences. Through heartfelt songwriting and storytelling, Layla creates music that speaks to real life, real struggles, and the hope found in faith.
A 2026 graduate of John McBride’s Blackbird Academy, Layla brings both artistry and music production knowledge to her work, giving her a unique perspective as both a songwriter and recording artist.
Layla has opened for Jake Hoot, Kelsey Hart, and others, and most recently had the opportunity to perform for and be highlighted by Drew Baldridge.
Her songwriting recognition includes a selection for Bluebird Cafe’s Sunday Writers Night, two NSAI Bob Kingsley Top 40 selections, a Top 10 finalist placement in the 26th Annual Nashville Songwriters Association song contest, and numerous other songwriting honors.
At the heart of Layla’s music is a desire to share hope, truth, and the love of God.

Peacemakers is set to release to radio on October 6, 2026. Capri shares, “It was inspired by Matthew 5:9; "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God."" Through the song, Capri hopes to challenge listeners to consider what it truly means to be a peacemaker, to choose grace over division, to pursue peace in a world that often feels fractured, and live out their faith through action.
